“No. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, COVID-19 is transmitted through person-to-person contact and not through water. Airborne viruses are not a threat to groundwater. But even if COVID-19 happened to be a waterborne virus, SCWA adds a trace amount of chlorine to the water supply to prevent the growth of pathogens."
