The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The forums, held regularly across Suffolk County, were created to give Suffolk residents an opportunity to discuss groundwater quality issues and other topics, including water conservation, with SCWA experts.

Suffolk County Water Authority Chairman James F. Gaughran and New York State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. at Assemblyman Thiele’s Bridgehampton office with the New York State legislation signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo last fall that allows unpaid SCWA customer balances to be placed as liens on property tax bills, thereby allowing SCWA to recoup hundreds of thousands of dollars per year that otherwise would ultimately be paid by ratepayers who pay their bills on time.
