Senator Charles Schumer met with Suffolk County Water Authority Chairman James F. Gaughran, Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey W. Szabo, as well as county and health officials Friday, September 1, to discuss the Senate's efforts to reimburse Suffolk County Water Authority for the cost of remeidation put in place to maintain a safe drinking water supply for Westhampton residents following the discovery of PFOS/PFOA contamination.
