This position supervises Field Representatives on a daily basis. The field supervisor must delegate the work and review said work upon completion; handle various complaints and find viable solutions to resolve different issues while out in the field. The individual must be well organized, have great interpersonal skills and submit reports in a timely manner. They must be able to handle emergency situations such as main breaks and flooding homes and investigate insurance claims. The ability to maintain productivity levels and vehicle fleet maintenance is a must. They must educate field operations personnel in order to meet established goals.

Essential (Primary) Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively work with the field staff as well as other departments. 
  • Compile information: draft, review and submit reports on a weekly basis. 
  • Review, research and gather information to assist our customers to resolve the various issues in the field. 
  • Navigate Clevest mobile work order system to assign daily work, review previous orders and outstanding orders not done (dispatch).
  • Take appropriate action to ensure staff is following all company policies.
  • Monitor and review productivity of CS Field Technicians, including interaction of individual technicians in the field; identify & communicate areas of needed training among field staff; train and mentor new CS Field Technicians.
  • Set and adhere to established guidelines for time off requests/vacation schedule to ensure adequate staffing.  
  • Hauppauge Office - Manage fuel inventory, maintain, and collect from payment drop boxes & manage storeroom ordering to ensure sufficient materials are on hand.
  • Maintain the vehicle fleet and utilize our GPS system to monitor said fleet. 
  • All other duties as assigned.



  • 5 years’ experience in Customer Service required, 10 years of Customer Service Field Services, Construction & Maintenance, or Production Control experience (any combination of the 3 equal to 10 years) preferred.
  • Associates Degree in Business Management or similar, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Grade “D” Distribution System Operators or Grade IIB Water Treatment Operator’s License preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or during emergency situations as needed.
  • Standard NYS Driver’s license required
