The Suffolk County Water Authority has announced the appointment of Frank Tassone as its new Deputy CEO for Customer Service. With extensive experience in government operations and management, Tassone brings a wealth of knowledge that will help further enhance SCWA’s commitment to delivering high-quality service to its customers.
In his new role, Tassone will oversee SCWA’s customer service department, leading efforts to improve customer interactions, streamline service processes and introduce innovative solutions to enhance the overall customer experience.
“Frank’s leadership and proven track record make him a perfect fit for SCWA as we continue to prioritize exceptional customer service,” said SCWA Chairman Charlie Lefkowitz. “We’re confident his expertise will help drive the organization forward as we continue to meet the needs of our customers.”
SCWA Chief Executive Officer Jeff Szabo added, “Our customers’ satisfaction is a top priority, and under Frank’s leadership, we’re looking to further improve the ways we interact with and serve the public. His vision for a more streamlined, customer-focused approach will be key to achieving that goal.”

Tassone’s career spans more than two decades, during which he served in high level positions in state, county and local government. His focus will be on ensuring that SCWA remains responsive to customer needs while continuing to provide excellent service at some of the lowest rates in the state.
