The Suffolk County Water Authority is proud to announce we have partnered with Brinkmann’s True Value Hardware to promote two unique water conservation initiatives: SCWA’s Water Wise Club and Water Wise Checkups.
When customers sign up to become members of the Water Wise Club, they become eligible to receive a credit of up to $50 on their SCWA account for purchasing water saving devices from Brinkmann’s such as low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators and rain sensors.

Water Wise Checkups, SCWA’s newest conservation initiative, is a free service provided by the Authority, which sends one of our water experts to your home for a one-on-one consultation. Our expert will ask a series of questions about your home to estimate your total daily water use. Water Wise Checkups identify each point of water use indoors and outdoors and estimates the quantity of water used at each of these points. The goal is to identify and quantify previously unaccounted for water losses, providing you with a road map for potential savings. Our water expert will show you exactly how much water you used last quarter and can compare that to your past usage numbers, as well as usage for the average customer in the area.
