The Suffolk County Water Authority continued its partnership with Good Samaritan’s Center for Pediatric Care in Babylon, providing reusable water bottles to children seen by the Center’s specialists each day.

Through this ongoing initiative, SCWA distributes reusable water bottles to young patients, encouraging them to stay hydrated. The effort is part of SCWA’s broader commitment to community wellness, particularly for children and families across Suffolk County.

SCWA has been supporting Good Samaritan’s Center for Pediatric Care with water bottle donations since 2018. SCWA remains thrilled to continue its partnership with an institution dedicated to improving children’s well-being.

“Our partnership with Good Samaritan’s Center for Pediatric Care has allowed us to connect directly with families and promote the simple but important habit of drinking water every day,” said SCWA Chief Executive Officer Jeff Szabo. “We were proud to continue this initiative and support an organization that plays such a vital role in advancing children’s wellbeing in our community.”

Cathleen Davis, MS, RD, CDN, also emphasized the value of the program. “Encouraging children to choose water over sugary drinks is a key step in supporting their overall health,” said Davis. “These reusable water bottles served as both a practical tool and a daily reminder for our patients to stay hydrated and make healthier choices.”

By continuing this partnership, SCWA is continuing its mission to deliver not only high-quality drinking water but also meaningful public outreach that benefits the next generation.
