The Suffolk County Water Authority is seeking a conscientious second year or third year college level Human Resources/Business Management student with an interest in employment, benefits, employee relations, leave administration, and working on various human resources projects.
Requirements:
- No prior job experience necessary
- Coursework/Interest in various Human Resources functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word,Excel,Outlook)
- Must be highly organized, responsible, and goal-orientated, with a strong attention to detail
- Possess excellent communication skills and be motivated to learn
- Must be a Suffolk County resident and possess a valid driver’s license
This is a paid internship. Employment will begin in May and continue through August. Work hours to be determined, maximum of 28 hours per week.
