ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: SCWA has learned of several potential scams taking place throughout Suffolk County in which individuals posing as SCWA employees are attempting to gain access to homes under the guise of "testing the water," sometimes warning the water will be shut off if they are not granted access.
Only in an emergency would SCWA collect water samples from customers' homes without an appointment
