The Suffolk County Water Authority is seeking a conscientious second- or third-year college level Environmental Health and Safety student to assist within the safety department.
Requirements:
- No prior job experience necessary
- Coursework in Environmental Health and Safety
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be highly organized, responsible, and goal-orientated, with a strong attention to detail
- Possess excellent communication skills and be motivated to learn
- Must be a Suffolk County resident and possess a valid driver’s license
This is a paid internship within a range of $17.00-21.00/hr depending on year. Employment will begin in May and continue through August. Work hours to be determined, maximum of 28 hours per week.
