Changes in our water rates took effect on April 1, 2020.  Long Island’s aquifer, the sole source of all of our drinking water, is our most precious resource, and to help protect it, we've changed the way we charge for water.

A conservation water rate has been established at $2.190 per hundred cubic feet (CCF) for all consumption above 105 CCF per quarter for 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch meters (your meter size is listed on your bill).

This conservation rate is in line with an initiative from the Department of Environmental Conservation calling on Long Islanders to reduce water consumption.

Our standard water consumption rate was held steady at $1.518 per CCF and our quarterly basic service was also not increased, remaining at $27.91. Please contact our Customer Service team with any questions at (631) 698-9500.

As of January 1, 2020, all bills now include a $20 Water Quality Treatment Charge.  Learn more about the Water Quality Treatment Charge HERE.
