SCWA joined Town of Southampton officials for an informational meeting at the Hampton Bays High School on November 28 to go over parameters for a potential operational agreement by which SCWA would manage the Hampton Bays Water District. Representing SCWA were Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey W. Szabo, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Operations Joseph Pokorny, Chief Financial Officer Elizabeth Vassallo, Director of Water Quality & Laboratory Services Kevin Durk and General Counsel Timothy Hopkins.
More than 100 people attended the informational forum organized by the Southampton Town Board, who also serve as the Commissioners of the Hampton Bays Water District. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday December 18, 2018 at Hampton Bays High School at 7:30pm.
