The Suffolk County Water Authority, New York State Assemblyman Fred Thiele and Suffolk Legislator Bridget Fleming will host an important forum tonight at Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton to discuss the many environmental, financial and quality of life reasons to use our precious drinking water supply wisely.

At the meeting, attendees will hear presentations concerning the importance of judicious water use and have the opportunity to ask any questions on the topic.

What:     Forum on Importance of Water Conservation

Where:   Rogers Memorial Library, 91 Coopers Farm Road,   Southampton

When:    Monday, August 8, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

*All attendees will receive a stainless steel reusable water bottle*

 

The Suffolk County Water Authority is an independent public-benefit corporation operating under the authority of the Public Authorities Law of the State of New York.  Serving approximately 1.2 million Suffolk County residents, the Authority operates without taxing power on a not-for-profit basis.
