KIDS AT WORK - On Thursday, April 24, the Suffolk County Water
Authority Customer Service Center in Coram hosted a number
of children as part of Bring Your Child to Work Day. The children
not only got an up close look at what there parents do every
day helping SCWA customers, but also participated in a number
of other fun activities. Pictured from left to right are Graceann

My Day At Mom's Job
By Guy Gremaux
I took a tour and I met everyone. I watched mom do her work
on her computer. We all ate on our break. Mom and Gia went
to the bathroom. We took a tour outside. Bees can live in
pipes. He showed us how to open up a fire hydrant. He also
showed us really cool tools. I had lunch at Friendly's. After
that, we went to 7-11. I got a slurpee and mom got a coffee.
Then Kathryn had a presentation - The Water Cycle On Long
Island.
At mom's job, it is Bring Your Child to Work Day so I am at
the Suffolk County Water Authority with my mom. My mom's boss
bought ice cream and I got Spiderman and it was really good
and cold. It took me a while to finish it.
My mom had to drop Gia off so I ate my ice cream while I was
waiting. Gia had to go because she had a soccer game but I
stayed at work. I got to go inside the SCWA truck and saw
lots of tools and that was really cool. Also, I got to listen
to mom on the phone. I also played my Nintendo.
I had a great Day!
Thank You
