Yes, drain outside faucets and turn off outside water to prevent freezing and breaks.

Do I have to do anything special with my sprinkler system?
Sprinkler systems should be drained and turned off to prevent damage to system and possible leaks.

I have water lines to unheated structures, what do I do?
Service should be shutoff and drained until spring to prevent breaks.

What should I do if I experience interruption of service?
Call the Water Authority. Interruption of water can be caused by main breaks, maintenance of mains, temporary demands caused by fires or freezing pipes. A customer service representative will be dispatched to investigate.
