Thank you for considering the Suffolk County Water Authority for the next step in your career. Please read the following instructions before completing the Application for Employment.  Within the application you have the opportunity to “upload” your resume and cover letter.  We do not accept faxed or emailed resumes.

Once you have completed the online application you will receive a confirmation message. This verifies your application is now in the system. Due to the volume of resumes received the Human Resources Department is unable to respond to individual inquiries.  Applications and resumes of qualified applicants will become part of our general database for future consideration and will enable us to review qualifications as positions become available.

Please note that the application process is competitive.  Applications and resumes are screened and only those applicants who appear to most closely fit the job requirements will be contacted for interviews.  In the event you are not contacted, your application and resume will remain active for searches in our database for consideration for other job opportunities for one year.  Background investigations and screening tests for alcohol and illegal drugs will be required before hiring and may be required during employment.
