How soon will
bid packages be mailed following my request?
Normally, bid packages are mailed within
24 hours of request. If you request a bid package after
1:00 on a Friday, it may not go out until the following
Monday. If Monday is a holiday, the bid package will not
be mailed until Tuesday.
However, please pay attention to the bid
opening date. If your request arrives within five (5) days
of the scheduled bid opening date and the bid package is
sent via First Class U.S. Mail, Suffolk County Water Authority
cannot guarantee that you will receive the bid package in
time to submit your proposal.
You may pick up the bid package at the
Suffolk County Water Authority Purchasing Department, 4040
Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, N.Y. Our hours are Monday thru
Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 :00 p.m.
If you are unable to pick up the bid package
and would like it sent via overnight delivery, please provide
your Fed-Ex account number for mailing when registering.
